Python Job: Backend Developer

About the Role
This is a full time permanent role. As a developer you will work as part of a small team developing and maintaining our data solutions, working on small distinct pieces to longer term projects. If you enjoy software development and challenging work solving data extraction/collection solutions, then this could be a great role for you.

Salary Range
$70k to $75k per annum

Skills and Experience
● At least 2 years as a qualified software engineer/developer
● Bachelor’s degree or better
● Managing multiple projects and responsibilities
● Experience with large datasets
● Experience designing and developing backend automation systems
● Analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to multi-task
● Good teamwork and communication skills
● Time and project management skills and experience
● Attention to detail
● Flexibility, teamwork and innovation

Technical Skills
Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, SQL, Bootstrap, AWS, CSS, Linux, Git, Heroku, google Analytics, Ruby, UI, Snowflake, APIs, Task Automation, Data Structures, DBT.

Main Duties
● Work as part of a small team developing and maintaining solutions, which are critical to the success of the business
● data processing and the maintenance of existing solutions, databases, and the management of cloud-based (AWS) enterprise solutions
● enhance current processes and look to simplify and resolve technical issues with automated systems
● design, develop and test new solutions
